Oikos Equity Fund

The Oikos Equity Fund will provide equity investment in operating businesses and real estate ventures specifically benefiting low and moderate income families and individuals through employment, small business and housing initiatives. The goal of the Oikos Equity Fund is shared equity and value creation leading to long term ownership of financial assets and wealth building in the community.

In the Bible, the word “oikos” (ancient Greek) refers to the house and the extended family community in a household.  The economy (oikonomia) of God’s household points to the fact that all wealth and property belongs to God and is to be used justly through productive stewardship of God’s resources in Kingdom priorities.

For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. (Matthew 20:1)
